AGE

The aim of AGE (Galician Publishers' Association) is to protect, promote and spread book-publishing in Galician, as well as the representation, management and protection of the common interests of its partners. Among the main corporate aims, we can highlight the following:

• Acknowledgement as a strategic sector by the Ministries of Culture and Industry of the Galician government.
• Book-publishing trade professionalization: intersectoral cooperation strategies, new financing means, training, communication strategies, etc.
• Change of the current experimental system for loaning textbooks. Increase of public resources of Galician books in the Galician Public Libraries Network.
• Definition of the historical debt of the Administration to Galician books.
